Short Bio: I am really just a big nerd at heart, but my friends don’t seem to mind! I am also a beagle mom. I got my first beagle, Talyn, as a college graduation gift for myself and spoiled him rotten from the moment I got him. He grew to become the biggest beagle you ever did see, weighing in at 48-lbs and standing 17.5-inches tall. And he was as smart as they come, teaching me a lot about every joy and heartbreak that comes with raising a dog. Talyn was a certified therapy dog and a very skilled agility dog. He was also a novice trick dog, who loved to perform. Unfortunately in October 2009, he died tragically… (see: October 2, 2009: The Worst Day of My Life…)
Now I am starting over with my beagle boys: Dax and Dylan! They are teaching me new and different things, plus they are wonderful NOSEWORK dogs! =)
